Do You Need an Apostille?

austinprocourierAn Apostille is a certificate of authentication for public documents, such as:

  • Birth Certificates
  • Marriage Certificates
  • Death Certificates
  • A Judgement
  • An Extract of a Register
  • Notarial Attestation

Apostilles are issued only for the use of public documents abroad, and they are only issued and used in countries that are party to the Apostille Convention (the 1961 Hague Convention). If the country that you’re sending documents to is not a member of The Hague Convention, you can apply for a certificate called an Authentication instead.

Not sure what countries accept Apostilles? You can check the current status of every country on the Hague Conference’s website anytime.

Need a Texas or US Department of State Apostille/Authentication fast? Pro Courier Service has got you covered. We’re proud to be able to handle all your Apostille and Authentication requirements for you, so you can get back to doing what matters to you.
